Grape Varieties: A mixture of old vine varieties, including Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, Tinto Cão, Tinta Barroca, Touriga Franca and Tinta Francisca.

Vinification: The grapes are cut into small boxes (about 20 kg/box) and transported to the cellar where they undergo a very careful selection process, being later crushed and worked by foot in ancient stone presses during fermentation. After fermentation, the wine is aged for 10 years in wooden casks.

Tasting Notes: A vivid brick-red color with amber reflections. Elegant and subtle, complex in aroma, combining expressive notes of dried fruits with nuances of orange peel, it reveals itself full in the mouth, showing excellent vinousness and freshness and ending in a long and persistent finish.

Recommendation: This 10 year old Tawny has been previously stabilized and filtered and is ready to drink. After opening, it will keep well for a period of one month.

Serving Temperature: Serve at basement temperature (12º – 15ºC).

Serving Recommendations: Elegant and distinguished, combining age complexity with a freshness conferred by its natural acidity, it is the ideal companion for cheeses and fruit cakes, and can also be enjoyed on its own. It does not need to be decanted. Serve directly from the bottle.
