White Concept- This wine presents aromas such as grapefruit, lemon, very well integrated herbs and notes of vanilla and tropical fruits.
VINIFICATION-The grapes are hand-picked into small boxes, before being refrigerated and then pressed in a pneumatic press, without destemming. Cold decanting, followed by fermentation in French oak barrels at controlled temperature and regular bâtonnage until one month before bottling, which took place in June 2017.
VINEYARDS: Granitic soils. Made from a very old, pre-phylloxeric vine, on a small granite plateau (altitude 600m) in Freixo de Numão, 15km west of V. N. Foz Côa.
AGEING 10 months in used French oak barrels, with regular bâtonnage.
