Vinification:
Port of a single harvest of the year. Instead of indicating the age like a mixed tawny (10, 20, 30, 40…), the year is always mentioned on the label. However, they should not be confused with Vintage Port. Since the “Colheita” must age at least seven years in oak barrels (but of course the complexity, the aroma and the refined flavors could not reach the heights of an old “Colheita”, such as, for example, a rare “Colheita” Golden White from 1952 bottled in 2009 … 57 years in French oak tubes).

Serve lightly chilled, between 12 and 13ºC, in an appropriate glass.
