Vinification: Process based on the traditional method of making Port Wine, which includes stopping the fermentation of the must by the subsequent addition of grape brandy, reducing the final sugar content. It results from a selective blend of wines aged in barrels for variable periods, always over 6 years.

Tasting Notes: Wine of great complexity and harmony, with rich aromatic set, creamy and smooth. Notes of bitter almond, walnuts and some vanilla. In the mouth it is fine, with some fat, silky, elegant, with a good dose of complexity, long finish with a well integrated dryness and smooth burn.

Recommendation: keep the bottle in an upright position, protected from direct light and excessive humidity, at a constant temperature (16º C to 18º C). The recommended consumption period (unopened bottle) is 5 years. Once opened, consume within 3-4 weeks.

Food Pairing: Traditionally this wine is served chilled as an aperitif or in a long drink, with lemon tonic water and ice. It goes very well with seafood vol-au-vents, cheese quiches, ice cream and fruit.
