Grape varieties: Encruzado.
Vinification: Destemmed grapes, soft pressing, fermentation in 228 and 500 L (20% new), with indigenous yeasts. Aged for 9 months in French oak barrels. Bottling in July and since then in bottle.
Tasting Notes: Elegant and complex nose, with stone mineral notes, some dust, white pepper, citrus fruit, apricot, jasmine and thyme. The palate is broad, full-bodied but fresh, with acidity carrying the aromas into a long finish.
Recommendation: This wine has great ageing potential and will reveal different faces throughout its life in the bottle. Drink at a temperature of 10ºC to 11ºC.
Food pairing: A perfect wine to accompany food, try it with roast fish, soft goat’s cheese, white meats and cod dishes.
