Grape varieties: Rabigato, Arinto, Gouveio, Viosinho

Vinification: The grapes are harvested by hand in September in 20 kg boxes. In the cellar, before being pressed, they spend 12 hours in a cold room at 10ºC. The grapes are then gently pressed in a vertical press. Fermentation takes place in 600L (40%) Austrian and French oak barrels. The rest is made in cement vats followed by fermentation with indigenous yeasts. During the maturation process the wine is not stirred in order to respect the character of the grapes. This wine is produced from 7 different plots with an average age of 30 years in the Muxagata area (Douro Superior). It matures for 9 months.
