The Filipa Pato Nossa Calcário red wine is a Bairrada wine that from the beginning, from the vine to the bottle, respects the expression of the Baga grape variety without make-up or artifice. Keeping the ancestral winemaking techniques, with minimal intervention, Nossa Calcário da Filipa Pato originates from old vines.
Filipa Pato Nossa Calcário refers to the freshness and natural acidity of the region’s queen grape variety, in a wine praised by the American critic, as well as the subtlety of the wood and the fruit nuances. The great success is that the acidity does not overwhelm the wine, causing the fruit to be noticeable until the end of the mouth, making the wine very refreshing and possible to drink with pleasure.
Filipa Pato Nossa Limestone rested for a period of 18 months in 500 liter barrels of fine grain French oak, 80% used and 20% new.
