Produced from traditional varieties of the Douro Demarcated Region and coming from the highest areas (600 m) of Quinta de Vale de Cavalos, in an area of soil marked by the transition between schist and granite, to ensure freshness. Aging in second year French oak barrels gives it complexity and structure. It goes especially well with grouper pasta, seafood rice, cod and risotto.
