After making seven vintages as an oenologist at Real Companhia Velha, Jorge Moreira felt the need to start an individual project where he could apply his ideas and where he could control the entire production process. Without concessions, a wine that reflects his interpretation of the Douro. In 2001 he started the Poeira project located in Provesende, along a slope in the Pinhão valley, on the right bank of the river of the same name.
