Poeira Red 2018 was born from the desire to make a wine that was balanced and elegant, not heavy, tannin and boring. Unlike wines sustained in tannin, Poeira is sustained in acidity, although these are well known. The elegance and fruity and floral subtlety of Touriga is mixed here with earthy notes, heather, aromatic herbs, blueberries, with brilliant complexity and finesse. The tannins are perfect, with an enormous polish, and the freshness runs through the wine from end to end, leaving a very long and classy finish.
