The wines of the Dão are wines for wine connoisseurs, their acidity and their more refined aromas are not for wine novices, there are even those who say that the wines of the Dão are close relatives of Burgundy, and they are not wrong. In the reds the Touriga Nacional dominates, even if blended with other varieties, in the whites we prefer to present almost exclusively Encruzados, this variety of unique flavor, citrusy almost sweet.
