Outstanding Port. Due to the weather conditions this year, Warre’s late harvests bottled are the benchmark in this category of Port. It aged four years in wood before bottling and then aged for at least another four years in the bottle.

Grape varieties: From the estates: Quinta da Cavadinha, Quinta do Alvito and Quinta do Retiro
Tasting Notes: Deep garnet with an almost opaque rim. On the nose it reveals black fruits, licorice and subtle tones of mint. In the mouth it is well toned, generous and muscular, with flavors of black fruits, voluptuous and elegant. Very well balanced, an exquisitely crafted wine.
Alcohol Content: 20% Vol
Aging Potential: Very pleasant from the moment it came out on the market, but with evident staying power and that will continue to develop in bottle for at least another decade.
